I have been feeling classic lately, it all started after watching Downton Abbey this Sunday, when Elizabeth got a 20's hair cut and became a 'new woman'. The episode had me pining for a 20's beauty look, and a quick fix for the fringe (bangs) I cut which I am now sorely regretting. The solution? Pin the hair back in a mock pin curl. More on the beauty side of the look later- the point is, that the hair sparked my decision to keep the theme & so I went for a complimenting simplistic 20's look with this H&M fur collar coat and mustard shift dress from Cos. Paired with ankle socks and we have a contemporary take on a classic look.

It is brilliant to see a brand being responsible, and being given £5.00 to get rid of unwanted clothes isn't too bad either. What is the best part is this is a wool coat, for £59.00! Thats a bargain!
