Boux Avenue Christmas Event

Christmas came early this year, and in style thanks to Boux Avenue. Last night, dressed like Santa's sophisticated helper, I made my way down to London's Portman Square to celebrate Boux Avenues Christmas and SS15 Collections.

Set in a beautiful city manor, upon entry I was welcomed by a decked out tree, sparkling lights & champagne, great music by DJ Becca Dudley, a photo booth, and to top it off,  two amazing collections to get acquainted with.

As I sipped Champagne and perused the collection it quickly became evident that for every avenue of Christmas, Boux has it covered. Lets get in.

This year, the theme is opulence, glamour and indulgence (3 of my favourite Christmas things).
Here are the categories as I see it:

The date before Christmas  lingerie

Because Christmas isn't just for the kids honey! This lingerie is sexy, sumptuous and is a much a gift to you as anyone who is lucky enough to see you in it. Rich reds finished with black lace this collection comes with baby dolls, bra's and silky dressing gowns for a sexy Christmas neither of you will forget.

Chloe Contrast Lace Suspender Belt £16, Knickers £10

Chloe Contrast Plunge Bra, £24 Boux Avenue
The night before Christmas comfy sleepwear.

Comfy micro-fibre dressing gowns, cute checkered pyjamas. Perfect for rummaging under the tree, and lounging with family & friends the night before Christmas.

The Wow I am actually going to use this stocking fillers

I don't know about you, but in my family Christmas stockings contents can resemble the insides of a Christmas cracker (random things I am never going to use). If you are tired of getting the short end of Secret Santa direct your people to Boux Avenue for some beautifully packaged socking fillers. From creams, to candles, to chocolates, its all here... and lovingly packaged.

The Eat what ever you want at the Christmas Party and still look hot Sexy Shape Wear

At a Christmas party, I come for 2 things to eat and to drink. Both of which are not too practical in a body con dress. Que shape wear, with a difference. This season Boux Avenue introduces a pleasant (and much needed) sprinkle of sexy to the world of shape wear. So this year, feel good about how you look in your dress, and underneath it. All around win win.

Last night was not just about Christmas, it was also the unveiling of the SS15 collection which I am buzzing to share. SS15 preview post coming soon, but for now enjoy these pics from the event and get Christmas wishing!

Serge DeNimes AW 14 Launch Party

Last night London's cool kinds gathered together to celebrate the launch of Oliver Proudlocks Serge DeNimes AW 14 collection. A brand synonymous with raw street style and originality, it made sense that the room was filled with like minded individuals.

There were four things I loved about this event:

1. The people there.

Cool, varied and talented. From music, to stylists to designers there was a wealth of this generations emerging artistic influencers. It was great to just meet so many people pursuing their passion and on their hustle.

2. The collection

Proudlock out does himself in the 3rd year of Serge DeNimes for what I think is the best collection yet. It is versatile, fresh and so on trend it's a bit ahead of it. Look out for my next post which will have more on the collection.

3. The vibe.

The third thing I loved was the vibe, laid back. The music was on point (at one point Bel Div Devo Poison played & that got people dancing :)  The drinks were Mahiki rum, tequila and beer and the atmosphere was buzzing. It was for lack of a better word simply chill and easy. Just like the collection, confidently and subtly awesome.

4. The style.
People turned up. Oliver's friends rocked exclusive items from the new collection whilst others peacocked their own distinct style. Not the sort of party where anyone would be wearing the same thing. Some outfits were self made, others were self styled all were expressive and a refreshing anecdote to the fast fashion mass produced style generation.

Perhaps it is fitting then that this collection is based on a wolf. The creature famed for being strong alone and confident in a pack. That's what life is about really. Stand on your own two confidently in the crowd or on your own. More on the collection in a moment. First, here is the night in pictures.
