Celebrity style master class. How to look fat when you're not.

First up, this has nothing to do with weight and these women are certainly not fat, this is to prove that whatever weight you are, the wrong clothes, in the wrong order can conspire against the best of us. But don't worry, I am here to show you where the are the pitfalls and how to avoid them.

I actually Googled to see if Kiera Knightly was pregnant after seeing her in this dress on the Jonathan Ross Show. But no, it is all the fault of this shapeless, criminal dress.

1.  Rule number 1. Don't wear clothes that are too big and have no tailoring.

Even if you are slim, this is a no no. What ever size you are, tailoring is your friend. This dress is criminal. If one must ignore ones waist, opt for a well tailored, straight cut shift dress ( think Twiggy in the 60s). However this dress breaks all the rules of flattery , its shapeless and has a poor attempt at design through these awful curved  lines around the boobs and stomach, giving a convincing illusion of big belly and droopy boobs.

Face stunning, skirt certainly stunning- not sure in a good way, but I'll let it slide, this outfit is a combination of the typical how to look fat no no's.

Rule 2.
Let big boobs breathe.
Ladies with big boobs hear me now. Nothing makes us look bigger than covering up large ta ta's with a crew neck. it gives uni boob. You have to let those girls breathe.  A skin tight crew neck with horizontal lines is one sure way to make you look bigger than you are.

Rule 3.
Don't get too busy. All the patterns and horizontal lines and tightness just equal an overall too busy look that is unflattering and fattening.

It's all about: short hair

Who said short hair can't be sexy? These celebrities prove that the right cut for the right face can be sizzling.  Short hair allows your face to stand out whilst giving you the opportunity to remix your crop with your own personal style to really wear it your own way. Each of the following celebrities have added a unique twist to own their bob. If you are thinking of joining the trend, be sure to check this out for ideas on how you can work your short look.

Kiera Knightley- All about the eyes.
Dramatic eyes, stunning cheekbones and pouty lips, Kiera lets her face do the talking whist her hair enhances and frames her stunning features. The chin bob is great for those with killer cheek bones and a strong jaw line.

Cameron Diaz, Blonde Bombshell.  Cameron gives the classic blonde Marilyn bob with a laid back modern twist. Great for those with fair colouring and bright eyes.
Madmen Christina Hendrix wears her short hair with a retro pin curl for a timeless unique look.

Emma Blunt mixes her long bob with a subtle brown ombre, lifting her look.

Gwenyth Paltrow, works the loose curls for Beach carefree surfer girl look which is just adorable.
Just like Kiera Ginnifer Goodwin works the above the chin bob, and the result is that her eyes pop. A pretty low maintenance hair style this one, pinned back, she gives us all face.

My number one girl Jennifer Lawrence works a beautiful subtle Balayage dye mixing blonde and honey for this sweet look that adds dimensions to her long bob.

Ad the short fringe and blunt cut. Very high Fashion Karlie Kloss looks tres tres chic. This look is great for those with a heart shaped face.

Scandal actress Kerry Washington just looks goregeous at all times, her thick bob and heavy fringe really frames her eyes and sweet heart shaped face, whist the subtle ombre brown adds gorgeous dimension, complimenting her skin tone.

Naomi Campbell keeps it sleek, high shine, high fashion, just like her. You can see the trend here, above the eye fringes really complement a heart shaped face.

So give it a try. It is winter, and who has time to wait for long hair to dry. There are plenty of ways to work short hair, so have some fun and mix it up. Good luck!
