Last Night New Yorks most fabulous apples, showed up glistening and gleaming to support the  CFDA/ Vogues Fashion Fund Award of which Paul Andrew was the worthy winner. Paul is in good company, as the prize has previously been awarded to Alexander Wang. Paul is a shoe designer is known for his chic, sleek city friendly designs and will receive $300,000 to invest in his line and most importantly, an industry mentorship (as well as a world of good publicity that comes with winning such an award). Runners up Eva Zuckerman and Ryan Roche won $100,000 and priceless industry mentorships. Needless to say, the event was rich with people dressed fabulously enjoy my best dressed picks :)

Joan Smalls with winner Paul Andrew. Come on look happy Paul!

Joan Keeps it casual and fresh with this laid back Stella McCartney dress, whilst contouring and smokey eyes ensuring her eyes and face pop. Great choice of nude shoes, by Paul Andrew of course, which ensure that her legs are elongated, whilst complimenting her skin tone beautifully.

Lilly Aldridge in all her bronzed glory stuns with this salmon dress, by Jaun Carlos Obando which elegantly compliments her skin and accessorises with a shimmering Edie Parker clutch.

Two legends battle it out with style referenced from two different eras. Both look stunning. Anna Wintour & Stella McCartney.

Zac Posen always shows up with a beautiful date on his tailored sleeve. Tonight it is the stunning Liu Wen in this stunning textured backless white jump-suit.

Serena Williams looks like a tall glass of something beautiful in this stunning blue Zac Posen dress.

Jenna Lyons plays with shapes and comes up winning, with this unique look.

I love this on Eva Hewson. Winter witch look- top and skirt by Prabal Gurung

H&M Alexander Wang- what to expect

The time is almost here, in less than a month the news which no doubt had many fashion students drooling in anticipation will come to fruition.

For those who don't know, Alexander Wang will be doing a collaborative collection for H&M and I will be one of the first in line.

Alexander Wang & H&M have been steadily leaking pictures for the past few months. And has fashionistas worldwide pricing together clues on what to expect.

So far word on the street is:

1. The collection has a heavy sports theme- Not that people will actually be wearing it to the gym, Rhianna was first spotted in a leak from the collection out and about in NYC.

2. The colour pallette will be grey and black & white ( ie no colour) Great for all those in staunch belief that " black is the new black"

3. It will feature a lot of branding- wang this and wang that. To be expected, branding is back. Forget subtle, the days of Nike ticks cut into fades are nearly upon us. Fine by me, I don't know about you, but once I get my hands on it, I will be all to grateful to be relieved of the duty of informing everyone that I am infact wearing Wang.

4. The collection will be exclusive new designs. No knock offs all shiny new

5.The collection launches on November the 6th.

In the mean time, enjoy the sneak peaks ft Joan Smalls & Rachel Zimmerman.

See you on the 6th.
